Trial Set up

This is my 1st trial with this program.  Set up of the actual Trial numbers doesn't seem right to me.  It shows:

                   Trial            Trial #
DATE          Number      by Day
Sept 7             1                2
Sept 7              2               3
Sept   8            3               1
Sept   8            4               2

Date and Trial number are correct, but Trial numbers by Day  isn't right.  What have I done wrong?

Go into the maintenance secti ok n and run all the fixes.

I went to Maintenance and did the fixes but it didn't fix the Trial Numbers by Day

Have you tried restarting the program? I would restart, re run the fixes.  If that doesnt work I would probably just delete the event and start over. I add new events all the time and haven't had an issue.

Hmm that is weird. You can try deleting one of the trials, and then re-adding it, too, if you don't have any runs entered into the trial yet.  That *should* reset those numbers. Or enter a dummy trial and then delete that one.

I have tried to delete the trial and it says there are runs listed.  I have gone through each person and can't find runs.  2 dogs show armband numbers but when I go to look at their runs, there are no runs listed.  I need to find a way to delete this event and start over again to get this trial set up.

Just go ahead and creat a new event.  It will work with both trials in there.

I have set up a new trial and this is what I get this time

I would not fight too long to delete it. Just start over with a new trial and a different name.

Thanks to Laurie at Redwood Ratters, it is fixed.  She gave me her phone number and we tried a few things.  Although we don't know what caused it, we eventually deleted all of my trials and on the 2nd try, were able to set up the new event.
