SQUARE DANCE CLUB

 

Paws and Taws members and friends –

 

Paws and Taws will be dancing this Friday, June 12, with Tony Simmons calling (not Joe Arnold as I announced at the 4 Plus dance on Sunday, sorry about that!) and Tom Bunn cueing.  Early rounds from 7:00 to 7:30pm, Mainstream with announced Plus from 7:30 to 9:30pm.

 

Note outstanding guest callers for the other dances in June – Marty Northrup on June 19 and Sam Rowan on June 26.

 

Upcoming Paws and Taws dances:

• Friday, June 12 – 2^nd Friday Dance with Tony Simmons calling and Tom Bunn cueing.
• Friday, June 19 – 3^rd Friday Dance with Marty Northrup calling.  No rounds this night.
• Friday, June 26 – Swiss Alps Dance with Sam Rowan calling and Tom Bunn cueing.
• Friday, July 10 – 2^nd Friday Dance with Joe Arnold calling and Tom Bunn cueing
• Friday, July 17 – 3^rd Friday Dance with Mike Cox calling.  No rounds this night.
• Friday, July 24 – 4^th Friday Dance with Tony Simmons calling and Tom Bunn cueing.

 

Dances are at Senior Solutions.  For dances on 2^nd and 4^th Fridays, there will be early rounds at 7:00pm and the dance, mainstream with announced Plus with rounds and lines between tips from 7:30 to 9:30pm unless otherwise noted.  Flyers are in the event details on the Upstate South Carolina Google calendar.

 

For 3^rd Friday dances, there will be a Mainstream workshop 7:00 to 7:30pm with no break, Mainstream tips from 7:30 to 8:30, and Plus tips 8:30 to 9:30.  The format of these dances will be a focus on providing floor time for both new Mainstream and Plus dancers.

Travel advisory – if you are going through Clemson, be aware that concerts Friday (and Saturday) nights are going mean football-sized crowds and traffic.
