Outside of the area I normally track, but be aware the Cherokee Promenaders Winter Storm Dance in Calhoun GA on Saturday with Theresa Berger and Victoria Bundy is now also cancelled.

A change is that the Fifth Friday "Three Guys and a Mic" Dance at Landmark Hall in Taylors is now CANCELLED.

Subject: Weather Cancellations this weekend

The following is what I know regarding the status of dances this weekend, with snow expected starting after midnight Friday, continuing most of the day Saturday, and very cold Sunday.

 

?         Friday, January 30 – both the Fifth Friday dance at Landmark Hall in Taylors SC and High Mountain Squares dance in Franklin NC are on.

 

?         Saturday, January 31 – the South Carolina Federation meeting and dance in Spartanburg SC is cancelled.

 

?         Sunday, February 1 – the 4 Plus dance at Landmark Hall in Taylors SC is cancelled and the Northeast Georgia Federation Dance in Dahlonega GA has been postponed to (I understand) March 1; that date will be confirmed in upcoming Dancing Opportunities messages.
