SQUARE DANCE CLUB
Paws and Taws members and friends –
This message is a little early, with Paws and Taws next dance being a week from Friday, on May 10th. That will be the Graduation Dance for our outstanding group of new dancers. Early rounds at 7:00pm with Tom Bunn cueing, with the dance from 7:30 to 9:30pm. All tips will be mainstream with the class instructor, Pacesetter’s Mike Cox, calling and Cindy Bunn leading both lines and “everyone can participate” mixers between tips. Tom will also cue a rumba as a promotion for the upcoming Rumba and Cha Cha class he and Cindy will be offering on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:45pm at Senior Solutions starting on May 21.
The reason for being early is an outstanding slate of dances this weekend that I would otherwise miss – check out the “other dances of note” P.S. for details.
Upcoming Paws and Taws dances;
- Friday, May 10 – Graduation Dance with Mike Cox calling.
- Friday, May 24 – Memorial Day Dance at McLadke Orchards with Joe Arnold calling. No rounds this night, rather Joe will be doing a Mainstream workshop at 7:00pm. McLadke Orchards is at 596 Sitton Shoals Rd, Seneca (about 6 miles south from Senior Solutions). Admission to this dance for both members and guests will be donations of non-perishable food items for the Food Bank.
- Friday, June 14 – Flag Day Dance with Tony Simmons calling and Tom Bunn cueing.
- Friday, June 28 – Beach Party Dance with Richard Smith calling and Tom Bunn cueing.

Pacesetters Cinco de Mayo Dance: Monday, May 6 at Central Presbyterian Church, Anderson, SC, with Mike Cox calling and cueing. With a taco bar!
