SQUARE DANCE CLUB

 

Paws and Taws members and friends –

 

Paws and Taws will be dancing this Friday, February 27.  A regular dance with Tony Simmons calling and Mike Cox cueing.  Early rounds 7:00pm, Mainstream with announced Plus tips and rounds between tips 7:30 to 9:30pm.

 

Note there are no dances on third Fridays for the beginning of the year, but will resume in May.

• Friday, April 10 – Special Dance with Tony Oxendine calling and Tom Bunn cueing.
• Friday, April 17 - no 3^rd Friday dance.
• Friday, April 24 – no dance, see you at the South Carolina Convention in Richburg!

 

Dances are at Senior Solutions.  For dances on 2^nd and 4^th Fridays, there will be early rounds at 7:00pm and the dance, mainstream with announced Plus with rounds and lines between tips from 7:30 to 9:30pm unless otherwise noted.  Flyers are in the event details on the Upstate South Carolina Google calendar.

 

For 3^rd Friday dances, there will be a Mainstream workshop 7:00 to 7:30pm with no break, Mainstream tips from 7:30 to 8:30, and Plus tips 8:30 to 9:30.  The format of these dances will be a focus on providing floor time for both new Mainstream and Plus dancers.

Spartan Spinners Hobo Benefit Dance:  Saturday, March 7 at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, Spartanburg, SC, with Tom Pustinger calling and Dean Kinion cueing.  This will be Tom’s next to last dance calling for the Spartan Spinners, and a tribute to him and his years of service is planned.  Flyer in the details on the Upstate South Carolina Google calendar.  Bring a can of any vegetable to add to the Hobo Stew that will be served.  Cash donations or packaged individual food items (see back of flyer for suggestions) accepted for weekend lunch program.
