Bring your sweetheart to our Valentine’s Day Dance this Friday!  Early rounds with Kristine Nelson at 7:00pm, Mainstream with announced Plus with Tony Simmons calling and rounds between tips, 7:30 to 9:30pm.

• Friday, February 14 – Valentine Dance with Tony Simmons calling and Kristine Nelson cueing.
• Friday, February 21 – 3^rd Friday dance with Joe Arnold calling.  No lines or rounds.
• Friday, February 28 – Mis-Match Dance with Joe Arnold calling and Kristine Nelson cueing.  Mix and match your outfit – different shoes, plaids and stripes, anything and everything goes!
• Friday, March 14 - Pie Dance with Tony Simmons calling and Kristine Nelson cueing.
• Friday, March 21 – 3^rd Friday dance with Patty Greene calling.  No lines or rounds.
• Friday, March 28 – Regular Dance with Joe Arnold calling and Kristine Nelson cueing.
• Friday, April 11 – Special Dance with Tony Oxendine calling.  No rounds.
• Friday, April 18 - no 3^rd Friday dance (Good Friday).
• Friday, April 25 – no dance, see you at the South Carolina Convention in Rock Hill!

 

Dances are at Senior Solutions.  For dances on 2^nd and 4^th Fridays, there will be early rounds at 7:00pm and the dance, mainstream with announced Plus with rounds and lines between tips from 7:30 to 9:30pm unless otherwise noted.  Flyers are in the event details on the Upstate South Carolina Google calendar.

 

For 3^rd Friday dances, there will be a Mainstream workshop 7:00 to 7:25pm with no break, Mainstream tips from 7:30 to 8:30, and Plus tips 8:30 to 9:30.  The format of these dances will be a focus on providing floor time for both new Mainstream and Plus dancers.

(note to those coming from South Carolina using US 76 from Westminster to Clayton, GA – the bridge over the Chauga River is closed.  There is an unmarked local detour on Cobb Bridge Road, easy to follow once you are on it since the entire route was repaved to accommodate the increased traffic.  The posted detour is much longer, taking you all the way to the Geogia line before turning north.)
