High Mountain Squares, Franklin NC IS DANCING Friday, October 4.

Friends, we are so blessed to have the opportunity to be together as a family Friday night from 6:15-8:15 at the RCCCB for our October 4 “Wear Your Pink” dance to honor breast cancer survivors and to remember those who did not survive.

Mike Cox, our splendid caller/cuer, will be with us for the evening.  I have asked Mike to focus on our students and their accomplishments so far.  Please encourage one another to be present.  I even hinted that you just might get to witness some round dancing by a few club members.

 

Reach out and do for others around you during this season of our lives.

 

Wear Your Pink Friday night and come prepared to celebrate togetherness again when so many are alone at this time.

Southern Lights, Hendersonville NC is CANCELLED Saturday, October 5

No power at their dance location.

 

Their next dance in two weeks may also be impacted.

 

 

4 Plus, Taylors SC is uncertain for Tony Oxendine, Sunday, October 6

The 4 Plus Square Dance Club will be making a decision on our scheduled dance Oct 6 w/Tony Oxendine at Landmark Hall Taylors SC.

 

As of Oct 3rd Landmark Hall power has NOT been restored. The Taylors area was hit hard by Helene. The road into the Hall was totally blocked with down trees.

 

We will make a decision on Friday Oct 4th as to status of dance.

 

 

Certainly all the damage in the area is heartbreaking.  Stay safe, please keep all those affected in your prayers, and do what you can to support relief efforts.
