Paws and Taws members and friends –

 

Tony Simmons will be calling at Paws and Taws on Friday, September 12.  Early rounds with Tom Bunn cueing at 7:00pm, Mainstream with announced Plus 7:30 to 9:30pm.

 

Upcoming Paws and Taws dances:

o       Friday, September 12 – Regular Dance with Tony Simmons calling and Tom Bunn cueing

o       Friday, September 19 – Pirates Dance with Joe Arnold calling, no rounds.

o       Friday, September 26 – Swiss Alps Dance with Sam Rowan calling and Tom Bunn cueing.

o       Friday, October 10 – Regular Dance with Joe Arnold calling and Tom Bunn cueing

• Friday, October 17 – Third Friday Dance with Marty Northrup calling, no rounds or lines. 
• Friday, October 24 – Tips and Treats Halloween Dance with Richard Smith calling, no round.

 

Dances are at Senior Solutions.  For dances on 2^nd and 4^th Fridays, there will be early rounds at 7:00pm and the dance, mainstream with announced Plus with rounds and lines between tips from 7:30 to 9:30pm unless otherwise noted.  Flyers are in the event details on the Upstate South Carolina Google calendar.

 

For 3^rd Friday dances, there will be a Mainstream workshop 7:00 to 7:25pm with no break, Mainstream tips from 7:30 to 8:30, and Plus tips 8:30 to 9:30.  The format of these dances will be a focus on providing floor time for both new Mainstream and Plus dancers.

SQUARE DANCE CLUB

 

Paws and Taws members and friends –

 

Mike Cox will be calling Paws and Taws Pirate Dance this Friday, September 19.  Third Friday, so Workshop at 7:00pm, Mainstream 7:30 to 8:30pm, and Plus 8:30 to 9:30pm.  Short breaks, no rounds.

 

Wednesday, September 24, will be a Plus Workshop with Joe Arnold calling.  The goal is to get dancers who have taken Plus lessons but do not dance Plus regularly to gain confidence on the floor.  Additional workshops will be offered on October 8 and 22.
