SQUARE DANCE CLUB
Paws and Taws members and friends –
Joe Arnold calling this Friday, October 9, and Tom Bunn cueing. Early rounds 7;00pm, alternating Mainstream and Plus 7:30 to 9:30pm with rounds between tips.
Paws and Taws is offering Plus lessons (the full program, not just the “new to Plus” calls) on Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Lessons will run through November 12 with Mike Cox instructing. Both new to Plus and those with Plus experience looking to both brush up and practice the “new to Plus” calls are welcome.
Upcoming Paws and Taws dances (note a couple of changes in September from what was originally announced):
- Friday, October 16 – 3rd Friday Dance with Marty Northrup calling. No rounds this night.
- Friday, October 23 – Tips and Treats Halloween Dance with Tony Simmons calling and Tom Bunn cueing.
- Friday, November 13 – 2nd Friday Dance with Tony Simmons calling and Mike Cox cueing.
- Friday, November 20 – 3rd Friday Dance with Joe Arnold calling. No rounds this night.
- Friday, November 27 – no 4th Friday dance
Dances are at Senior Solutions. For dances on 2nd and 4th Fridays, there will be early rounds at 7:00pm and the dance, mainstream with announced Plus with rounds and lines between tips from 7:30 to 9:30pm unless otherwise noted. For 3rd Friday dances we have altered the format to have the workshop between the Mainstream and Plus sessions: Mainstream tips from 7:00 to 8:00pm, Plus workshop 8:00 to 8:30pm, and Plus tips 8:30 to 9:30pm. The format of these dances will be a focus on providing floor time for both new Mainstream and Plus dancers.

Take I 26 to Exit 49, brings you on Four Seasons Blvd, follow all the way down, stay in left lane., 2nd light past the new Sphinx station turn left at traffic light on North Grove St. just before the church which you can see.
Parking lot on the right. Come to the door at the end for Preschool. Will have a sign out front or I will be standing there to let you in.

Paws and Taws welcomes Marty Northrup this Friday, October 16, for our Third Friday dance. Mainstream dance 7:00 to 8:00pm, Plus dance from 8:00 to 9:30pm. No workshop this night to maximize dance time for Plus tips for those currently taking Plus lessons (which continue on Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00pm with Mike Cox instructing).
