Talked to a Fairfax County Shelter employee last week   -   she informed me that RABBITS are the animals MOST KILLED there, they have the LEAST chance of being adopted.    Right now there are 9 bunnies listed on the shelter site   (   www.fairfaxcounty.gov     -   click on animals,  adoption ).
 
 
NEXT to have least chance of making it out alive are TURTLES  especially the large turtles.   THEN come the large BIRDS with miminual chance.
 
 
 
Actually RIGHT NOW, according to the listings on the site for the "shelter"   SO MANY SPECIES NEED RESCUE  /   SAVE ASAP!!
 
 
 
There are 14 DOGS  -    labs, terrier mixes, beagles, pitties, pitty mixes, and some beautiful aussie mix puppies.
 
 
 
Also in great need are 25 CATS  -  all ages, and colors  -   lots of tabbies, and some kittens.
 
 
 
OTHERS  -  9 Rabbits  /  2 Rats  /  1  Lizard  /  1  Parakeet /  2 Turtle Sliders  /  5   Guinea Pigs  /  1 Hampster  /  AND 1 Chincilla
 
 
 
 
 HEARTBREAKING     -         PLEASE TRY TO HELP THEM MAKE IT OUT ALIVE      -     EVEN IF IT IS JUST JUST ONE PRECIOUS BEING!
