Just to be clear, Python 2.5 support in general is not a (serious)
problem, or if so, I did not encounter it so far.
It's just the Cog dependency which causes trouble (only supports 2.6+)
and would have to be made optional in some way.
It could, like Sphinx, be detected and used if available and otherwise ignored.
So if you use pavement with Python 2.5 but without Cog, you should be fine.
