The project for the development of design documentation "Gearbox with electro-hydraulic control of BelAZ vehicles" is a control system for the transmission of BelAZ trucks.

The main objective of the project was to create an efficient and reliable gear shift system used in heavy mining.

As a result of the completed project, the following technical parameters were achieved:

- Transmission: hydromechanical transmission with a three-shaft matching gearbox, an integrated single-stage lockable torque converter, a shaft gearbox with friction clutches, and a hydrodynamic retarder.

- Maximum speed of the dump truck: 50 km/h.

- Gearbox ratios:

- Forward gear: 1 - 3.84; 2 - 2.27; 3 - 1.50; 4 - 1.05; 5 - 0.62.

- Reverse gear: 1 - 6.07; 2 - 1.67.

- Gearbox ratios provide the optimal ratio for working in mountainous terrain.

The project “Gearbox with electrohydraulic control for BelAZ vehicles” made it possible to achieve significant improvements in the efficiency and reliability of trucks in mining conditions, which made it an important element in the company’s product line.
