Another interpretation of the order banning non-essential travel between 7pm and 7am is that domestic helps are allowed during the day

Its not whether government allows or not . It is about being safe . If lockdown is relaxed it does not mean that the Covid 19 crisis is over and we can go back to our normal life . we have to be more careful now . Maid servants are the biggest risk as they go to multiples homes and can bring in infection very easily . They also live in crowded neighbourhoods where there is less or no social distancing followed .They enter our homes and touch all spaces including kitchen and bathroom . we have to take special care or will end up in trouble .
Any ways understanding the pain of the senior citizens we have allowed entry of maid servants for only senior citizens . They have to wear masks ( this is mandatory as per govt, anybody who comes in a public space needs to wear masks or face penalties ).Also they cannot spit in our apartment . The owner needs to take care of necessary sanitisation requirements once the servant enters the house for work .
I have ordered for infra red thermometers which we will use for checking temperature of all maid servants before entry to the apartment ( anybody with fever will be sent home ).Expecting to get the same in 2 weeks time .
This is for your safety and for all in the apartment . I know things are difficult for all .Request all to co-operate .
