The following documents are required.
1. Attested copy of the Bye-laws of the association.
2.Attested copy of the registration certificate of the association.
3.Attested copy of the resolution for opening the account and intimating the names of the people who are authorized to sign the checks for withdrawing the money.
The resolution is to be signed by at least five members of the association. The resolution is to be on a letter head of the association.
4.The following documents in respect of the persons who are going to sign the checks.
a. Address proof. ( aadhar card, voter id card, passport etc., any one )
b. ID proof ( aadhar card, pan card etc., any one)
both the above are to be signed by the individual.
c. two passport size photos.
5. Attestation is to be done by an authorised person of the society like Secretary of the society with stamps.
6. duly filled in copy of the application for opening the account.
Only a current account can be opened and not a SB A/c.
