I told the guy, this is broken though... Why would a reputable company like JBL do this, he obv didn't know but yea, basically JBL created an incredible speaker with a f***ing annoying glitch. I only use AUX at home and also for portable DJing out and about. Outside is OK as the volume is high anyway but this !#^&@! me off at home as the bass will !#^& off my neighbours and why should I WALK to my BLUETOOTH speaker every 2 minutes to MANUALLY turn the vol up/down? Big fail JBL... big fail.
If you just got a new subwoofer or pair of monitors, see how low your system goes with heavy bass songs in a variety of genres. Take any of these for a spin and see for yourself which are the best songs to test bass with!
Skyharbor are a progressive metal outfit from India (with a former English vocalist, and current American one). Their arrangements are quite dense; 7-string rhythm guitars, ambient guitar, synthesizers, and more. The mix in this song is particularly tasteful, and the bass guitar fills in a very obvious spot where you can hear it prominently throughout the track amidst the denseness of the rest of the instruments.
In a week and a half, Dell will announce its second-quarter earnings results. Expect a bloodbath. In the first quarter, back in May, Dell gave the market a goose egg--analysts had expected Dell's revenue and earnings to fall from a year ago, but the company slumped way worse than people were guessing it would. Shares tanked, and they haven't recovered. Analysts aren't expecting anything stellar this time--Dell said its outlook was weak--but I suspect Dell could deliver another shock, presenting numbers that will begin to confirm a permanent downward trend.
