Another analysis that makes sense to me.
trump has bumbled into increasing Iran's power in the world.
The Iran hard liners aren't going to toss trump a life-line to get out of
the mess he created. They will not give up.
It's also likely they will get a nuke in the next year (which they
weren't doing until trump ripped up the treaty that prevented that).
By any perspective, trump has made things much worse.
