We've been busy here the last few weeks, finishing up outdoor jobs
before cold weather settles in. Other than a quickly-disappearing
dusting back in October, we've yet to receive any snow here in central
Iowa...but that likely won't be the case for long. :-)
NEWEST ITEM -- BEST SELLERS SAMPLER PACK
We finished putting together our Best Sellers Sampler Pack a few weeks
ago, and it was a big hit at the November craft shows we attended. This
pack has a variety of our most popular items, all measured out and
ready for use, along with a handy booklet of recipes and tips that
we've tested and enjoyed over the years.

NEW RECIPE
As cooler weather arrives, we've been enjoying yummy meals of hot
soups. Here's one of our favorite recipes, shared with us several years
ago by our friend, Heather.
Crockpot Pizza Beans
2 c. Paul's Colorful Soup Beans (we prefer this 12-bean mix, but almost
any other bean combination would work)
3½ c. water
4 tomatoes, chopped (1½ c.)
1 onion, chopped
1½ tsp. dried oregano
3 tsp. salt
¾ tsp. rosemary
Rinse beans, cover with water, and soak overnight. In the morning
combine beans and rest of ingredients in slow cooker and cook on high
for 6-7 hours. Add 3-6 c. mozarella cheese (grated or chopped) and ¾
c. parmesan cheese, and cook 10 more minutes.
Makes 3 servings.
