It is hard to believe another year is drawing to a close. We have
enjoyed meeting many of you who have travelled to our farm, craft
shows, and farmer's markets from far and near and sharing in the lives
of many of you either through email and/or over the phone. Last month
we had the pleasure of visiting with many regular customers and many
new ones at the Indoor Farmer's Market in Des Moines. November 19 was
a busy show and lots of fun. Now, we are working hard to get
everything ready for this coming Saturday. We are milling lots of
flour and cereal. If you would like to pick up an order on the 17th,

For those of you who haven't heard, we now have a Facebook page for
Paul's Grains. You can go to paulsgrains.com and find the Facebook
link on our homepage. We appreciate each one of you. Satisfied
customers are our best advertisers. If you ever have a question or
concern about our products or service, please let us know. We always
like to hear how our customers are using our products, too, so we can
share your ideas with others.
We will be taking two of our beef cattle to the locker on the 20th, so
if you would like to place an order for grass-fed beef or get more
information, give us a call or email us. We still have a few more
frozen chickens that we raised this summer, so if you need some tasty
free-range chickens, just let us know.
We are having a mild winter so far. We have only seen a dusting of
snow several times so far this season. I guess it is waiting to arrive
after winter officially starts. That is fine with us. It is so much
easier to get the chores done when you don't have to plow through the
snow. I'm sure it will come eventually.
