Greetings from the snow- and ice-bound midwest. My husband and I
drove the 75 miles to Springfield today to see P&S in a Bob&Tom Comedy
Show. Over half of the trip was spent on glare ice and we were very
impressed with the numerous creative and unique ways that people
"parked" their cars on the interstate, especially the upside-down
ones! (Kids: 4WD does not mean you don't have to slow down when
driving on ice...) Not wanting to do a triple axel with our car, most
of the trip was at 35mph. But, we arrived in one piece!
The show started off kind of slow with Dan Grueter and Tim Bedore (and
Tim is normally extremely funny on the radio doing his Animal
Conspiracy bit). Maybe the audience was still trying to warm up from
the cold. Many people arrived late, thanks to the miserable road
conditions. Anyway, it started off slowly...
Then P&S hit the stage. They were totally awesome! The audience went
wild...P&S sang beautifully, their voices were clear and strong (we
had trouble hearing some of the other people on the stage...maybe
we're just old!) They only did four songs (I think each comedian/
group got 20 minutes alloted to them...poor Paul kept nervously
checking his watch.) They started with "Better Version", followed by
SHR "Counting to 10" (hadn't heard this before...it was really funny
and the audience, as well as yours truly, LOVED it!), EP, and finished
with Six Guys, 10 Teeth. P&S really got the audience fired up, and
the rest of the show went well (Mike Armstrong and Tim Wilson).
Kudos to the guys...you made the miserable, white-knuckle drive well
worth the trip!
Thank you!!!
