Role: Senior Oracle Data Security Access Management
Location: Plano, TX / LA, CA / Atlanta, GA



Responsibilities:
  • This role is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and execution of our data security access management initiatives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data security access management strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures into our systems.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our security protocols, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal protection.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats and technologies in the field of data security, proactively advising on potential risks and solutions.
  • Understand the impact of system changes and patches on user access, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum security.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data security professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure the security of our systems and data.
  • Oversee corporate systems and Oracle environments, ensuring they meet our data security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data security policies and procedures, ensuring they align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, identifying areas of vulnerability and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage data security incidents and breaches, coordinating response efforts and implementing post-incident reviews.
  • Provide expert guidance on data security matters to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments in data security, ensuring our organization remains compliant.
  • Manage data security budgets, allocating resources effectively to maximize security outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting a culture of data security awareness and responsibility.
  • Participate in industry forums and events, representing our organization and contributing to the broader data security community.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance data security awareness and capabilities among our employees.
  • Conduct regular reviews of data security tools and technologies, recommending improvements and upgrades as necessary.
  • Ensure our organization's data security practices align with our overall business strategy and objectives.
  • Lead data security projects, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree would be an asset.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in data security access management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of data security principles, system changes, and their impact on user access.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC are highly desirable.
  • Experience with corporate systems and Oracle environments.
  • Strong understanding of data security policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Proven ability to manage data security incidents and breaches.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to provide expert guidance to senior management and other stakeholders.
