Role: AWS Cloud Admin

Location: Carlsbad, CA (remote only for the time being due to COVID restrictions)

Duration: 6 months

Role Scope / Deliverables:

• Provisioning and de-provisioning AWS resources for internal customers
• Deploying, managing, and operating cloud resources AWS environments
• Estimating AWS costs and implementing cost-saving mechanisms and measures
• Managing tags and creating cost reports
• Access Control on AWS resources for internal customers
• Process and technical documentation
• Work with internal customers to trouble AWS related issues
• Use internal processes to work with other internal teams

Key Skills:

• 2-3 years or more hand-on experience provisioning, operating, and maintaining systems running on AWS (must be hand-on)
• Capabilities to provide AWS operations and deployment guidance and best practices
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Python (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate level or equivalent
