Title: BI Lead/Architect
Location – Sunnyvale, CA
Need candidates to start immediately.
Overall experience: 10-15 yrs
Skill Set: Programming in Spark and Scala, Python, SQL, Good design knowledge on data warehouse, Big Data applications and basics of data analytics. Working experience in Cassandra and Kafka will be good add-on. Good understanding of Java programming
Design and build solutions for our business partners using Big Data technologies. Responsibilities include the creation of conceptual approach, technical analysis, causal analysis, design, development and support activities.
- Hands-on experience on Big Data Technologies Spark, Scala, Cassandra, Kafka & Python and Good in Java Programming language
- Proficient in any programming language Python/Java/Scala
- Understanding of Teradata procedures & SQL statements
- Build logical data models using the technology relevant for the business use case
- Working with various business stakeholders on detailed workflow design, configure
- Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure with a high degree of flexibility
- Demonstrated ability to automate the tasks with thought process of innovative ideas
- Must be able to understand data models and business logic in a short span of time
- Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure with a high degree of flexibility
- Thorough analysis of documents and propose design approach
- Working Proficiency and Expertise on Hive is required.
- Working Experience and understanding of Hadoop/spark architecture.
- Strong experience with Data Warehousing concepts and standards.
- Working experience in handling huge volume of data.
- Work with the team to build, manage, optimize and customize ETL products and solutions applying best practices
- Partner with Business stakeholders with the goal of providing them with the ability to make decisions and gain insights through data visualization. Development would include requirements gathering, Data-model and how to best visualize their data, followed by design, deployment, and on-going enhancements.
- Work closely with the Project Management Office and various business stakeholders to drive and/or facilitate development of requirements, specifications and use cases for assigned projects.
- Able to work on multiple projects and initiatives with different/competing timelines and demands.
- Lead collaboration activities with business partners on detailed workflow design, configuration
