Role: Cloud Solutions Architect (9986526)
Length: 7 months contract
Location: 11710 Plaza America Drive 12th floor United States 20190 Reston VA USA-Reston

Required Skills:
·         BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Business or equivalent job experience required
·         You have a minimum of 10 years’ experience building solutions and application across multiple technology areas and application stacks
·         You have 4+ years’ experience as a Solutions architect with an emphasis on cloud hosted solutions
·         You have experience with one or more public cloud technologies (Azure and GCP)
·         You have experience with Java and are familiar with Microsoft .Net stack (Or the other way)
·         3+ years of experience in API architecture, API management and REST API design
·         You have knowledge of cloud native architecture
·         You understand Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and/or Infrastructure (IaaS) and system design around these concepts
·         You have experience in securing, performance tuning and hardening complex cloud-based web service architecture
·         Strong communication skills
·         Experience in building distributed systems and algorithms.
·         Experience with Agile/Scrum development practices. (need to be able to design vertical slice milestones)

Preferred Skills:
·         You have a strong knowledge of web services design and development
·         You have experience in Azure cloud offerings such as AKS, VMs, SQL, CosmosDB, Functions etc.
·         You have experience with GCP offerings such Kubernetes, App Engine, DataFlow and other services.
·         You have experience with big data and distributed data systems
·         You have experience with Kafka and Spring Integration tools
·         You have the ability to train and mentor solutions architects and development teams in cloud standard methodologies
·         You are comfortable working in a large agile environment
·         Certification in or experience with Enterprise Architecture methodologies like TOGAF
