As an Ophthalmologist I am warning all and sundry not to watch the forth coming eclipse. Unless you are an Astronomer there s really nothing to see but a shadow of the sun covered by the moon. The ultraviolet rays emanating from the corona of the eclipse can BURN YOUR RETINA and blind you permanently. However if you are that curious get a really certified "eclipse shade". There are numerous bogus shades out there. I recommend a welder's shade. Sunglasses don't protect you kahit patong patong (even if they
are placed one top of each other / layered ).
