Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to make sure that the settings were correctly applied
for the members of this group and that everyone can upload and create
content. If everyone has a chance please play around with the work
space, add a discussion, upload a document or create a page.
If there are any problems please let me know so I can modify the
permissions.
BTW, throughout the rest of the week I will be in the process of
finishing up some of the preliminary set up for the site, by uploading
relevant documents and then trying write a few things to help direct
some of our efforts.

Hi Justin,
I've been playing around with google app & sites. I think that offers a much richer and friendlier platform than groups. I'm happy to elaborate and share example if you like.

Please do! Part of the reason for using groups was due to the
complexity of SharePoint and I want something that is very easy for
everyone. And if google apps are perhaps better then it is perfectly
easy to move since we are just getting started here.
