Opening to BPA

Heya folks -

I'm planning to introduce the site to the BPA list over the next day or two. (The list seems to be in full swing, as well - nice to see.)  

In preparation, I've put some polish on the site - 

sorted the front page a bit nicer (http://placepatterns.org/), 

edited the about page (http://placepatterns.org/about/), 

added a how-to (http://placepatterns.org/howto/)  

and feedback page (http://placepatterns.org/feedback/), 

and tweaked the style a bit.  

The next day or two is a great time to add patterns and post helpful comments about patterns that are already up there.  Adding a bit more life to the site right now can have snowball effects when it's unveiled to the larger list.
