We must thank god that for saving Operation Sindoor from being a  disaster because we had  our Brahmos , S 400 missiles . Similarly Pakistan had another surprise in Turkish swarm drones Initially but we were ready with our jugaad but effective guns.  Our Rafale did a good job with Scalp missiles in destroying Bahawalpur , Mudrike and other terror centres .But Pakistanis were prepared and waiting with 200 km range PL 15 original Chinese missiles with J 10 place beyond Indian BVR range and missile was supported by AWAC link transfer facility till it came very close to our planes . We knew Chinese have developed long range missiles . We should have immediately taken steps to procure matching missiles . Why we did not immediately equip our Sukhoi 30s with long range missiles although in Balakot we had similar experience with Americam AMRAAM missile launched from F 16s on our Sukhois.

We have sycophant & घमंडी Babus ruling Defence Procurement and a Finance ministry who never realise that our thousand years of slavery was due to military unpreparedness right from  from use of horse over elephants by Alexender to Abdali’s  camel mounted guns . It should have alerted our Babus and their bosses that for avoiding defeats in wars , we have to be proactive and not  reactive in purchases of latest weapons and not after others have acquired it . But even when Chiefs are given purchase powers, Babus make it ineffective by clauses like ‘ only indigenous equipment ‘. How can Indigenous purchase give us better missile than PL 17 or better aircraft than J 35 ? ..........
