2014 Spring Band Concert

Good afternoon.  Its hard to believe but our spring concert is only one week away.  We hope that you will take the opportunity to join us for a great concert next Tuesday evening at 7:00pm in downtown Morganton at the CoMMA.  It is our seniors' last concert and we look to have an excellent performance for you.

We are very excited to have internationally known conductor and Director of the Appalachian State University Wind Ensemble, Dr. John Stanley Ross, joining us to guest conduct the Wind Ensemble.  I have attached a bio of Dr. Ross for you.  As you will see, he is quite an impressive musician and we are excited that we get the opportunity to have him work with our students.

The program will consist of the following:

Symphonic Band:

FHS Alma Mater, Alicia Smith (Conducted by 2013 Drum Majors, Caroline Dean, Anna Taylor, and Josh Tubito) 

As you can see, we have a great program with some really fine music.  Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.  We look forward to seeing everyone next Tuesday evening!
