Several people have asked for these so I will give you what has been given to me from the director at Ashe Co. Our performance time is 9:00pm, late. Drive time is about 2 hours in a car.

Directions from Morganton:

These directions are the best I know of to get to us from Morganton. Most will say take 321 to Boone first, but I do not suggest that route – I think it will take longer and there is more traffic. Here is my suggestion. All these roads are good and wide enough to easily accommodate charter buses:

-         Take Hwy 18 to Lenoir

-         In Lenoir, stay on Hwy 18 until it “t-bones” into Hwy 16 (Moravian Falls in Wilkes County)

-         Take a left turn onto Hwy 16 and remain on Hwy 16 all the way into Wilkesboro (just a few miles)

-         In Wilkesboro, get onto hwy 421 North.

-         Stay on 421 to the top of the mountain. You will pass under the Blue Ridge Parkway at the very top of the mountain.

-         After passing under the Blue Ridge Parkway bridge, you will turn right onto Hwy 221 (about ¾ mile past the Parkway bridge)

-         Stay on Hwy 221 into West Jefferson (about 14 miles)

-         You will come to a stoplight on Hwy 221

-         Go straight through this light and the high school will be on the right about ½ past the light
