Band Updates 4-8-13

Good afternoon and welcome back to school.  I hope everyone had a great spring break and got some much needed rest or had a great time on our trip.  I had a blast on the trip and I look forward to the rest of our school year.  I have some updates and reminders for everyone this week.

 

The Krispy Kreme fundraiser forms and money are due this week on Wednesday (4-10-13).  I have attached an additional form if needed.  This week we will also be passing our tickets to our BBQ Lunch/Dinner on May 3rd this week.  Ronnie Hicks is cooking the BBQ and it is some of the best around.  We are in need of volunteers to help with the BBQ.  If you can help please send me an email.

 

Our All-County Honors Band Clinic will be this Thursday evening and all day Friday at Patton High School.  Students should have music for the clinic.  I have also attached the schedule for the event.  Students need to turn in the $10 registration fee before the end of school on Thursday.

 

If you haven't already checked out our new website (www.fhspatriotbands.org) I encourage you to do so.  It has a lot of useful information on it and I hope that you will take advantage of using it.  It has a complete calendar, downloadable forms, and many other things that you can use.  If you have any suggestion for it please let me know.

 

I had a great time on the trip and I hope that everyone else did as well.  This ranks as one of my favorite trips that I have been on and it was such a pleasure to see the students have a good time.  All of the chaperons commented on what a great group we had.  We are already throwing out ideas for next year and we look forward to having another great trip.
