  • This is the last week of the fruit sale, please make sure you are doing your best at selling all you can. All money and orders are due next Monday, November 9th.
  • We are moving our rehearsals back to 4-6 this week, or 4-5:30, depending on when it gets dark. We are having to deal with the time change this year since Newton-Conover falls later on the calendar.
  • Thursday we will have our regularly scheduled band booster meeting at 7pm in the band room.
  • Friday students may get their own ride to the Patton away game. Parents, you can drop off your student there and pick them up if you wish. This is going to help us save some much needed money! All students will need to meet at Patton no later than 6:45pm wearing their Sands of Persia shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. Also, a jacket might be in order with the cold weather. A few students indicated that they would not be able to get a ride and we will take a small bus to accommodate those students. Game should end around 10 or 10:30pm.
  • Saturday, we will rehearse from 3-4pm so please be on time, students. Our performance time is 8:20pm and parents are always welcome to attend and cheer us on at our last competition! If students plan on riding home with parents then I need a note prior to Saturday.

Whew! Busy week but it is all about to settle down. Please be aware of the information sent home yesterday regarding the spring trip, we will discuss this in detail at the band booster meeting on Thursday. Have a wonderful week!
