Good afternoon.  This is a letter from our Band Booster Organization Lisa Dean.  Thank you everyone for your support of our program and the Classic.  We are currently up to 22 participating bands.

Thanks to all the FHS band boosters who attended the meeting tonight to plan for the Freedom Classic on Saturday, October 19.

 

Parents and Band Boosters, we need your help with the following:

VOLUNTEER:

We need volunteers for the following areas: 

concession stand (9am-10:30pm), water tent(11:00am-9:00pm),

airgrams (10:30 – 5:00) clean-up crew (10:00pm – until)

Shifts are 2 hours.

Call or text Lisa Dean at 828.443.1424 or send an email to lisa....@enolagroup.org. Indicate the area and the times you would like. I will call or txt you with a confirmation.

 

SEND BAKED GOODS:

We need individually wrapped goodies for our baked goods tent – brownies, cookies, cake slices, etc. Ask grandparents or other family members to help with this as well!

Bring to band room on Friday, October 18 or to the baked goods tent by 10am on the day of the Classic.

 

SEND PEPSI PRODUCTS:

We need every band student to send in at least 4 cases of Pepsi products (Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Mtn. Dew, Diet Mtn. Dew, Sierra Mist, Diet Sierra Mist, Aquafina Water). Start sending in immediately!

 

SEND FOOD FOR HOSPITALITY TENT

We need crockpots of soup and chili, finger sandwiches, dips for chips, canned drinks (any brand), baked goods, appetizers of any kind, etc.

Bring items to band room on Friday or Hospitality tent on Saturday morning by 10am. Label items you needed to have returned (crockpots/lids, serving platters, bowls, etc)

                                   

SPONSOR A TROPHY:

Contact Tanya Klanert 764.4179 for trophies still needing sponsors! We still need around 50 sponsors.

 

We really need everyone to participate with every area possible. We have 22 bands participating this year – over 1,800 band members!
