Monday - Truth and Reconciliation Walk & Celebration

Hello AVTTS community,

For those of you who don't know, Tseshaht have organized the 4th annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Walk & Celebration in Port Alberni on this coming Monday (Sept 30th). The walk starts at 10am at ADSS (4000 Roger St) and goes to Maht Mahs (5000 Mission Rd). There is a celebration at Maht Mahs at noon. There is a shuttle to return folks to their cars. If you are able to join, please do - this is an important opportunity for us to engage with our Indigenous neighbours on an important day.

I have a lower back problem which keeps me from walking more than a block or two.  I'll probably drive to Maht Mahs, as I don't want to miss the rest of the event.
