I can probably pull up articles and rants on digital bulletin boards (these were green screen dial-up forums back in the day) from 25 years ago; decrying the downfall of data modeling and poor models in the marketplace. Guess what, bad modeling has always been there and it will continue to be there.

And while I love the electrified blues, jazz, and classic rock, I can appreciate the beauty and artistry of classical guitar and opera. Much the same way, I see the value in the decisions from a variety of modeling approaches.

This is the philosophy of model Sonny Turner who, with her voice, wants to reach as many women as possible in the world, to tell them not to be afraid of who they are, how they are, that uniqueness is already in them.
She adores her modeling job because, as she says, a revolution has finally come, a time when the fashion and beauty industries are looking at all types of beauty, and all body types.

Graduated in Sociology with the dissertation on the plus-size modeling industry, Sonny has already conquered advertising campaigns including Savage x Fenty and H&M (of which she tells us as a cathartic moment of her career).

We took a stroll with her in New York where she now lives, and she told us about her beauty routine, how she takes care of her hair, the importance of blush, and how much she would like to book more and more beauty campaigns.

For some projectors, it is possible to find the model name and serial number in the menu by following the steps below. This is especially helpful if the projector's model name and serial number label is unreadable or not accessible.

The serial number is located on the bottom plate of the car audio unit. It is not directly accessible, as shown in the pictures below. Should you need to know the serial number, it is advised to have the car audio unit removed from the car stereo slot by a specialised installer.

Looking at things more carefully and comparing with images from google earth and people pictures I think the end result is more accurate with your data but less pleasing to the eye, mostly seen near vertical cliffs. Not sure this could be fixed without manual mesh editing.

Approx coordinates of where I took the screenshots are 4003'14.58" N 942'49.08" E
Also this is one of the files you have not updated recently, just noticed that, it is from June 2018

I will need to try with one of the areas recently updated.

That's interesting, cause especially in this part of Sardegna I have HQ-lidar source data. I created 2 screenshots where you can see the enormous improvement in detail compared to the standard SRTM/Viewfinderpanorama file. I'm not a scenery expert, but I think this improvement should be visisble in the final scenery - at least if you fly close around the rocks.
Maybe you didn't choose the 1" sec file but the 3" version of the DTM, or something in the creation process of the Scenery wasn't optimum?

It is not a question of misconfiguration, but simply linked to the fact that by nature ortho-imagery does not do well with (almost) vertical cliffs. In such cases, lower resolution DEM appear less steep, and therefore the ortho-imagery is less stretched (although the terrain isn't reproduced properly) and may look better. The correct way to handle high resolution DEM with vertical cliffs is to either use oblique imagery (rarely available) or to overlay that part of the terrain with a plausible texture mask (will be in the next revision of the software).

I therefor used the latest available source-files of the Spanish survey Institute. Most improvements are in regions which lack of LIDAR source data in the previous DTMs: Andalusia and the Balearic Islands.
Now the whole territory of Spain is covered by high quality LIDAR data.

For about 75% of England, Wales, Northern Ireland fine LIDAR source data available, Scotland
unfortunately (beside river valleys and coasts) is not covered as well. For the areas not covered with fine LIDAR-data I used OS DTM-50m which is wider gridded but also based on LIDAR source data and hence especially in wooden areas more accurate than SRTM data.

The improvements in accuracy, quality and fine details of my model's elevations compared to those of the popular SRTM-datasets are enormous. Especially in mountainous terrain. Take a look at the following Map comparisons: Maps based on LiDAR-DTMs to maps based on SRTM-DTMs: -map-comparisions

You can use these new DTMs to create improved, more accurate meshes and sceneries of a whole country.

Well done. I done a small donation based only on your pictures. I am new in X-Plane and flight sims but I understand that there is a lot of time put into creating nice sceneries. I dont know how to download them or have them in my X-plane 11. Maybe you can just give me a little hint how to have them.
In rest all the best and well done.

I'm "just" providing high quality elevation data which is one component, sceneries are made of. I'm neither a x-plane nor a scenery expert, so I hope other people are able to help you. Maybe you could open a new thread with your qusetion in a suitable forum here, where more people will be able to help you.

Does anybody know how to setup Ortho4XP properly to use these .hgt files? I managed to download the entire package of @Sonny7. A lot of effort went into this! Thank you very much! In the past (i.e. until now) I used the default ViewFinder De Ferranti stuff and got acceptable and reasonable results. Now, when I use the 1" Lidar files, the terrain does not look right. I tested it with my home area where I live, so I know how it should look like. Valleys are much too wide, hills are lower than their surrounding area. I got realistic results with the default ViewFinder stuff. Obviously Sonnys Lidar files are better, but it seems to me that Ortho4XP is too rough in its default setup (it seems that smoothing is too extreme), so I can not deal with it properly.

I know how to deal with Ortho4XP and Sonnys files, but I don't know how to setup Ortho4XP that it can handle these 1" files properly. Currenty I get better results with these default ViewFinder files. I know the Lidar files are better and I would like to use them. So how to set up Ortho4XP? Any tipps or hints, screenshots or O4XP config files are very appreciated! Thank you!

PS: Turn down values of "curvature_tol" is not an option for me otherwise I would lose fps in VR. Independend of Sonnys Lidar files I did already extensive tests about this in the past. I've found a good balance between terrain/mesh detail and fps performance, esp. in mountainous areas.

Since some weeks LiDAR source data of the whole territory of France in its finest resolution is available as OpenData. So during the last weeks I created enhanced DTMs of France:
-france

Additionally Wallonia (Souther Belgium) also provides their LiDAR sources in its finest resolution as OpenData. So I created enhanced DTMs for Belgium too, now the whole country is complete in highest resolution:
-belgium

Have fun, Sonny.

i agree, not sure why the error is here. circuit modeled in normal way using model editor, wizard import. opening up the model file to see the part that was auto created for "Input" circuit and it seems to match the *.lib file just fine as shown below. i mean, the number of inputs matches.. 8 of them.

and we can see it matches up nicely with the definition shown below. so again.. i'm not sure why i get an error. only difference is subckt uses "Pout1" and not "Pout1_15" and similar for "Nout1" and "Nout1_17" but i think this is not a problem, just variable names that match up with respect to the order in which they are called in the subckt. at this point i think the error is not related to the library :(

Sonny Hall (born 10 June 1998) is an English model, artist and poet.[1][2][3][4] Hall released his debut poetry collection, The Blues Comes With Good News, through Hodder & Stoughton in September 2019.[5][6][7] He is signed to Kate Moss's modelling agency.[8][9][10]

Hall was born in Essex. From ages three to four, he moved between foster homes with his twin brother, Harvey. They were eventually adopted at age four. And then raised in Wandsworth, south west London and Surrey.[11][12] He did maintain contact with his birth mother.[1] He dropped out of sixth form in 2014.[1] He began using drugs in his teenage years, but fell into an addiction soon after his birth mother died of a heroin overdose in 2015. He rehabilitated at The Cabin Chiang Mai addiction clinic in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2017.[11][13]

A conceptual data model (CDM) operates at a high level, providing an overarching perspective on the organization's data needs. It defines a broad and simplified view of the data a business utilizes or plans to utilize in its daily operations. Conceptual data modeling aims to create a shared understanding of the business by capturing the essential concepts of a business process. These essential concepts are usually captured in an Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and the accompanying entity definitions.

So, now that you have a clear definition of a conceptual data model, you are probably thinking, what are the benefits? The benefits of a conceptual data model fall into two areas: creating shared understanding and improving communication and collaboration. Both lead to a greater sense of stakeholder trust, The conceptual model also ensures that a physical model is designed such that it not only produces correct results, but enables the business to ask valid questions. For example, can one customer have multiple reservations? Or is the customer and the guest always one-and-the-same?
