Success Principles of TOP Affiliate Marketers

There are many characteristics of successful affiliate
marketers.  In this post, i will select the 7 most
important principles of what a top successful affiliate
marketers must have in order to win the online marketing
game.

1)  Give first and receive second

You need to give to receive.  If you want to receive more,
than you need to give more.  This is the basic principle of
entrepreneurship, not just online business.  It is
absolutely crucial that you learn to give, to serve.  There
is a powerful quote by successful motivational speaker, Jim
Rohn, that said:  You can have anything you want if you
help enough people to get what they want.

Just like in this blog, i gave away useful information to
help affiliate marketers to make more money online.  As
they make more money, they will buy more of my products and
thus, i will make more money as well. It is a win-win game.

2) Never stop believing in yourself and your business

You will encountered problems and setbacks in your online
business.  This is an absolutely guaranteed events.
However, you should keep believing in yourself and your
business no matter how bleak the situation has become.  If
you don't believe in yourself and your business during the
difficult times, then no one can help you.  You hold the
master key to your online business.  You are in charge.

3) Plan your business and set goals

You need to sit down and plan your online business, even
when you are promoting other people products aka affiliate
marketing.  WIthout a plan,  you have absolutely no idean
what to do and most likely you will move with the flow.
And chances are high that you will purchase all the shiny
objects that you see in your mailbox, even though some may
not serve a purpose for you business.

In order to plan your business, you need to set a goal with
a timeframe.  Once you are clear of your goal and timeframe,
then you can workout your plan to achieve your goal within
the timeframe.

Setting a goal to be accompliced within a certain timeframe
and planning your business help you to stay focus.

4)  Choose irrational and passionate markets

All succesful affiliate marketers choose their market very
carefully.  As the late Gary Helbert (top direct response
marketer in US) once asked this question: "If you are
selling hotdogs at the beach, and if you have one request
that will be granted to you, what is that request?"

What is your answer?

His answer is: "You will want to ask for a hungry crowds 
at the beach".

How true!  Some examples of irrational and passionate markets 
are internet marketing, golfing, body building etc.

5) Branding

All successufl affiliate marketers brand themselves or
their business.  Even though they market other people
products, they market to brand themselves. They know that
people buy from the people that they like.  They brand
themselves to their customers ( and they keep the customers
in their own database, not the merchant or vendor database )
so that they can sell to the customers again and agian, for
life.

6)  Take full responsiblility of your success

Top affiliate marketers don't blame others for the failures
and setbacks in thier business. They simply take the
failures and setback as valuable feedback so that they can
learn from them.

If you don't take full responsibility of your online
busines success, and start to blame others or circumstances
for the failure, then you lost control of the situation.
However, if you take full responsiblility and work toward
corecting and making adjustment to your online system in
order to get the outcome that you want, then you are in
full control.

7)  Network

Successufl affiliate marketers network with other online
business owners to gain trust and friendship.  This is
important for future joint venture efforts to help each
other to make more money and dominate the marketplace.

You may network with other internet marketers via forum, or
you can contact them in skype or email.  Help them to get
what they want and you will win their friendship.  At times,
affilate marketers network at live seminars or offline
events.  After the event, you may go to the pub with them,
buy them a drink etc… this will go a long way in future
joint venture partnership.
