[R20/Discord] PFS Quest: Phantom Phenomena Sun Aug 27 @ 7PM EDT

A series of six Quests designed for 1st-level characters.

Bizarre phenomena have tormented the people of southeastern Ustalav for decades, and these events become stronger and more dangerous every year. Hoping to uncover the origins of these flashes of red lightning and spectral hauntings, Dr. Quolorum from the Sincomakti School of Sciences has set out with a team of able-bodied assistants. Can the PCs help the professor unlock the secret that dwells above Lantern Lake?

Phantom Phenomena includes six, 1-hour adventures that take the PCs to a superstitious village, a lightning-scarred woodland, an ancient Kellid monolith, a haunted manor, an occult university, and finally into the storm-choked mountains. Experience the adventures in any order to create a unique story.

I hope to play this pretty fast and finish up in 5 hours or less.  It's up to the group though how many quests you want to play.  Need to play all 6 to get all boons and full gold.

Can someone explain Quests to me? There's no gold and no XP for playing them, so what are they for?

these are a series of six linked quests.

you can play one to all of the quests, gaining XP, Prestige and the gold depending on the number of quests you complete.

if you do not play all the quests, you can play the remaining quests at another time with the same character, provided you have not played any other scenarios with that character in the interim

I think, there were old quests, that had zero XP and zero gold, but granted a boon (e.g. Ambush in Absalom).

There are two for oXP etc (Ambush in Absalom and Fane of Fangs)

There are 4 (?) which are linked quests and replayable with different characters. Phantom Phenomena is one of these 4

Three actually, everyone forgets The Urge to Evolve, which is a decent little quest but expensive to buy since you need to buy a Kobold Magazine PDF to get it. I have a table. If there's demand I can run it.

It's a 1 hour quest for 0XP like Ambush in Absalom. I forget what tier. 3-7 maybe?
