Hey guys.  I've got the idea for a character that I want to play,
but I think I need help creating him.  All I know for sure is I want
to play a wrestler.  There's a monk archetype in "Ultimate Combat",
but I have 2 problems with it.
1.  I'm having trouble finding some of the bonus feats it lists in -any-
of my books, so I can't make an educated prediction of where the
class leads.  Therefore, I'm having trouble figuring out where to
place my stats.  (I realize I could find it on an online reference, but
my only access to internet is in 5 minute intervals once a day through
the week and on the weekends, but I'd like to be finished with the
character in time to play a game this week-end.)

2.  While I'm not looking to be evil, I'm not sure Lawful is the way I want to
go, which may rule monk out.  You see, I'm hoping to kind of play a
"Bad Guy Wrestler", not evil, but certainly lots of cheating.  Regardless
of alignment or "Good Guy" or "Bad Guy" the character build will have to
focus on grappling, and, if possible, be a worthy melee fighter.

                                                 Thanks, gotta go

Sounds like Tetori monk.  I believe there was a typo in that book and some of the feats associated don't exist.  I believe there's an FAQ on the Paizo site that replaces those, though I'm not able to look that up at the moment.

1. The answer is on this page:

http://paizo.com/products/btpy8mcz/faq?Pathfinder-Roleplaying-Game-Ultimate-Combat#v5748eaic9okr

Monk--Tetori: This archetype has three bonus feats that do not exist: 2nd level--Crushing Embrace; 10th level--Twin Lock; and 18th Level--Backbreaker. What feats should replace those missing feats?

Update: Page 16, change "2nd level--Crushing Embrace" to "2nd level--Stunning Pin"; change "10th level--Twin Lock" to "10th-level--Pinning Knockout"; and change "18th level--Backbreaker" to "18th level--Neckbreaker."

2. I’d recommend asking on the advice section of paizo’s messageboards. The cad archetype for fighter might have the flavor you are looking for; there is also an unarmed archetype for fighters but both don’t focus on grappling. The martial artist archetype for monks get rid of the alignment restriction but it probably can not be used at the same time as the tetori archetype (because they probably swap the same thing).

Along with Cad and Unarmed Fighter archetypes, you micht want to think about the Lore Watrden archetype (from the Pathfinder Society Field Guide), since, with the right build, it can excel at almost any combat maneuver, especially since it gets a class bonus every few levels to general CMB & CMD.

It can also stack with Rogue or Ninja for some ugly synergies, too.

Of course, it won't have the raw saves and AC, especially touch AC, of a monk build...

Well the OP didn't mention if this how much was a RP-build or optimized build so nothing wrong with providing options :)

You may want to consider Maneuver Master as well.  Its a little more complicated, but can lead to some cool combos.

For instance, at level 2, if you were a human, you could have improved grapple, improved trip, Ki throw, and binding throw.  This effectively would allow you to use your attack action to trip, which gives you a free reposition and a free grapple check.  You'd still have your maneuver check as well, so you could pin the guy in a single round.  You can add in improved ki throw to add a bullrush maneuver in there too!  The other nice thing is with the maneuver master you can actually attack and dirty trick in the same round, not too shabby.  You may also want to switch out stunning fist via Monk of the 4 winds, as your stunning fist will likely be lacking (I can't imagine your wisdom is gonna be that high).  Someone on another board also mentioned combining it with Sohei. I'm not sure if thats legal, but Always act in the surprise round would be much better than stunning fist, particularly if your doing a dip.

Personally, I'd probably only go 2 levels and then dump into lore warden.  You could go 8 and lore warden three which still synergizes pretty good.  A brawler wouldn't be terrible either, and has some cool synergy too, though I truly think the lore warden trumps any other class for maneuvers, and a free Combat Expertise (well not free, but a very good trade off) will allow you to qualify for several feats that would be hard to get normally.

Whats wrong with a Brutal Pugilist for a wrestler?  Dex based with Agile Maneuvers and a halfling.

Thanks everyone.  I'm sorry it took me so long to thank you, but this is my first chance to get online since my last post, lol.  I don't think I'll have my character done in time for a game this week-end, but I've got my fingers crossed that by next weekend someone will be playing an adventure with a cocky, smack-talking, bad guy wrestler.

P.S.  Is there anyone who'd like to help me with stats and skills for optimizing this character?  I'm thinking of going Maneuver Master, perhaps mixing with Lore Warden as "Under A Bleeding Sun" suggested.  My Skype name is bussell20 & I'd love more help with this character if anyone is willing.

"The Undertaker"
Lore Warden / Savage Warrior Tiefling Oni-Spawn
Chaotic Neutral

Str: 18
Int:  12
Wis: 14
Dex: 14
Con: 14
Chr: 5

Feats:
1) Improved Unarmed Strike, Improved Grapple
2) Snapping Turtle Style
3) Snapping Turtle Clutch
4) Weapon Focus (Grapple)
5) Improved Trip (Secondary Attack Style)
6) Greater Grapple
7) Rapid Grapple

Get +1 Brawling Mithril Chain Shirt and a slotted Red Ioun Stone by level 5 to make grapple really good for you, then a +2 Str Belt.  You should have all of this easily by 6.

@Level 7:
HP: 58
AC: 19 (not exciting, but more magic items will get it up, it should be 22ish by now with a few more items)
CMB: (Level 7 + Ioun Stone 2 + Chain Shirt 2 + Lore Warden 4 + Savage Warrior 1 + Str 5) = +21
Grappling: (Feats +5) = +26
Tripping:  +23

Alter Self 1 hr / day will give you an extra +1 from Str.  So you're @ +27 at level 7; enough to grapple a stone giant on a 4+ and a large dragon with a 6+.
