Well, there are now Debian Packages for Pathfinder.

I've uploaded them to the unstable queue, and once the ftp-master goes through and adds it to the archive, it should show up. Now, of course, it would be very useful to have Pathfinder show up in Ubuntu, but I'm not sure what the process is to get a package to cross over (not to mention that we'd have to wait until WvStreams 4.4.1 gets pulled into Ubuntu as well).

I'll probably be creating a new spot in the repository for the Debian files, as I've opted to keep Pathfinder as a "Debianized" package, instead of a Native Debian package.

Happy holidays everyone.

It looks like wvdial and retchmail got pulled in, but not wvstreams?

Ubuntu periodically syncs their main packages (which, currently at
least, includes WvStreams because of WvDial) with Debian unstable. I
think getting Pathfinder in would be a matter of making it a dependancy
of something they care about (e.g.: a specialized version of mod_ssl).

Alternately, you might be able to get it into Universe through their
MOTU (masters of the universe) program. I'm not an expert on that
though.
