"paranoid mode" - feature suggestion

I'd like to have configuration option for pathfinder to limit it to
"paranoid" mode, keeping it caching CRLs and using OCSP, but not
performing full path lookups (to effectively limit path validation to
"depth 1" under known trust anchors, just like web browsers do)
