Why is path2go disabled while riding transit?

While riding Amtrak this morning, I tried to use path2go. I wasW told that the app was disabled while driving. This seems like a very short sited feature. I want to be able to find the bus at the next train stop. Since transit moves, transit users should be allowed to use this app while riding transit.
