Good Afternoon to Everyone,
I am looking for some people to act as volunteer event coordinators to help coordinate and put this event online and send out press releases.
Can you help or finds someone willing to help with this?
Have any volunteers or people interested in attending call our office: 843-376-2898, volunteer meeting will be at 530pm-6pm on Monday 3-5-2012 at the Chamber of Commerce on second floor meeting room at Leeds Ave location in same room as where the NxLevel Training class is being held.
We are hosting two free classes on 3-11-12
1. Customer Service & Account Manager: 3-11 (10am-12noon)
a. Must sign up in advance before day of the class
b. Willing and able to work in Customer Service capacity
c. Have good driver record, have good transportation and able to be consistently on-time to work (8am-1pm)
d. Be able to type at least 35 WPM (corrected), test yourself with online typing test
e. The correct person will have great attitude and a people person
2. Server (Windows 2003/2008) Build Class 3-11-12 (9am-1pm)
a. Must sign up in advance before day of the class
b. Seating limited to 15 people (no more room in training area)
c. Must be enrolled in local technical course, technical college/university
d. This is a four hour class and we will expect each participant to donate 4 hours in community for the class, must be endorsed by a local volunteer or intern program coordinator.
e. We will be taking pictures during event to promote community work, we will be asking for permission to use pictures.
f. We will be building Windows 2003/2008 donated servers to prepare for future needs in our community.
i. Local business owners have donated systems
ii. We use standard Microsoft Windows installation tools and drivers found on internet to setup systems
iii. All systems built will be donated to nonprofit organizations in our local community
Looking forward to meeting with our volunteers next Monday at the Chamber on the 2nd Floor meeting room from 530pm-6pm.
