Garden Installation Friday Morning for Extra Hours.

Subject: Food Network Event at CCSP on Friday

I wanted everyone to know about this exciting event occurring on Friday at CCSP. If you can and your schedule permits, come on over and check it out. More importantly, we need a handful of NJCDC volunteers to help in the morning, starting at 9 am, and willing to get a little dirty. If you schedule permits you to volunteer, please let me know asap. Thanks.

This Friday, June 7th, the Food Network, Cablevision, and other partners will be at the Community Charter School of Paterson to dedicate the creation of a “Good Food Garden,” an outdoor classroom that will allow the students to learn the science of growing fruits and vegetables at the same time it provides produce to help promote healthy lifestyles to hundreds of students and their families. During the morning hours, school and community volunteers will be putting the finishing touches on the Good Food Garden, and at 12 noon there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony. I would love if you could join us. The event will be held at CCSP at 75 Spruce Street, rain or shine (ceremony will be inside in case of rain). See attached flyer. Any questions let me know. Thanks!
