Coming soon: P-TACTS will replace PTAB E2E

You are receiving this email notification because you are a registered user of the United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Patent Trial and Appeal Board End to End (PTAB E2E) system. Coming this summer, PTAB E2E will be replaced with a new and modern system known as the Patent Trial and Appeal Case Tracking System or P-TACTS. In order to access the new P-TACTS system, all users must have an active MyUSPTO account

In a few days, you will receive a MyUSPTO account activation email. If you do not see this email, check your junk/spam mailbox.

Users who have an existing MyUSPTO account:

  • If the email address you used to register for the MyUSPTO account is the same as your current PTAB E2E account, no further action from you is required at this time.
  • If the email address you used to register for the MyUSPTO account is different from your current PTAB E2E account, you must register for a new MyUSPTO account that matches the same email address.

Users who do NOT have a MyUSPTO account:

  • You must use your current PTAB E2E email address to register for your MyUSPTO account.

About MyUSPTO Account:

  • The email address used to create a MyUSPTO account will be linked with other USPTO systems and will become your primary identification when logging into the new P-TACTS system.

MyUSPTO Access:

For more information, visit the MyUSPTO resource page on the USPTO website.

If you have any questions or need support, contact P-TACTS admin at PTABP-TA...@uspto.gov or contact the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) at 571-272-7822.

I feel greatly comforted to know it is “new and modern.”
