It's about time! The Director is now taking the RPI requirements seriously, thereby forcing the PTAB to do so as well.

USPTO designates as informative a decision addressing real party in interest

In this decision, the Director vacated the decisions granting institution and denied inter partes review after concluding that a petitioner’s failure to provide clarity as to its actual identity proved fatal to its petitions. The Director found that the patent owner came forward with evidence sufficient to put into dispute whether the petitions identified all real parties in interest (RPIs) and the petitioner failed to rebut that evidence and carry its burden to show that it had, in fact, named all RPIs.

What PTAB?  They are about to shrink it to before AIA levels.  Have you seen the workload charts? The number of judges already permanently  gone?    Hope you weren't hoping for a post-grant practice in the future.  Or an interference practice.  Or, in fact, any way of challenging patents reliably anymore outside of the courts.
