repro creation fails

I have now been trying to create a new repo from my account for
several days and it doesn't seem to happen. Everything seems to go
well, I get to the page with the red/pink "repo creation in progress"
message OK, but after that nothing happens. The new repo never appears
in the list of repos when I reload the page. I also tried clearing the
web browser cache to make sure the page is refreshed but that doesn't
help. And of course if I try to push to this new repo I get:
% darcs push patch-tag.com:/r/popinet/gerris-mhd
darcs failed: Not a repository: patch-tag.com:/r/popinet/gerris-mhd
((scp) failed to fetch:
patch-tag.com:/r/popinet/gerris-mhd/_darcs/inventory)
Any idea what's wrong?

Strange. There is certainly something the matter with patch-tag's
repo creation machinery. Others have reported similar behavior every
so often.
But I can't duplicate. I was able to create
https://patch-tag.com/r/tphyahoo/repo-with-dashes/home
with no problems.
Unfortunately I am completely bogged at day job and can't promise to
give this prompt attention.
That being said, I suppose now would be a good time to announce that
patch-tag has a new bug tracker, since the gitit bug tracker has
proved unsatisfying to use.

This new bug tracker still in "beta" mode. Could you attempt to
create a bug describing your problem there and see how far you get? I
don't know if I have to add you as "authorized user" or something.
There are many such "heisenbugs" and I am trying to get all the
really important ones into the new bug tracker so that when the
patch-tag dev team is stronger problems will be prioritized and in a
well organized state. There will be some interesting news about that
in near future, so stay tuned.
