Gents,

It's an orange disc day today!  See you at 11:45 sharp.

Because it was questioned and I like to learn (and Schlagel would be proud!), I had to look into the rules about crossing the endzone line in the air with the frisbee.

Below is the rule Blaine was referring to when he said  I would've had to carry the disc back out and begin play again:
  1. If after receiving a pass outside the end zone, a player comes to a stop contacting the end zone, that player must carry the disc back to, and put it into play at, the closest spot on the goal line.
Moreover, The receiver in the end zone must have at least one foot across the end zone line in order for the goal to count when he/she catches the disc. Ultimately (see what I did there), it would depend on whether or not you could say I was outside of the end zone when I caught it, as I was basically straddling the goal line as I received the disc. Not sure how you rule that one.

What if you dive and catch a disc in the endzone, but your feet are never in the endzone?
I.e. the disc is 6+ feet into the endzone, you dive forward to catch it (don't dislocate any appendage) but your feet stay out of the endzone.

Is it a score?

Are there different rules for wheel chair ultimate?

Wheeltimate?  I would love to see that.  I'm pretty sure Schlagel would've been in a chair with monster truck tires.

For the record, I was running upright bounding in gazelle-like fashion and turned to catch the disc. It was breathtaking.
