PAT with TNC (over radio or Bluetooth)?

hi does PAT work TNC (over radio or Bluetooth)?

i have a new protocol to add to PAT if this is possible = LORA (and LoRa APRS)

Hi Ricardo,

Yes, but it depends on your hardware and operating system. KISS-mode TNCs are only supported on Linux. On other platforms, you might have some luck with the (more or less unmaintained) serial-tnc driver. However, most users would probably prefer using the soundcard tnc Direwolf connected via our AGWPE (over tcp) interface. It's easier to configure, relatively cheap and often outperform hardware TNCs when it comes to decoding weak signals.

Pat expects the transport layer to provide an ordered, error-free stream of data. Meaning the Lora layer must implement ack'ing and re-transmission of data packets (much like TCP).
