I installed pat.

I have an RF IP network (AREDN) and want to telnet to (either of 2) existing
Winlink RMS stations.
I have G8BPQ-BBS running on a Raspberry Pi and
a HF radio, rigctl, QtSoundModem on a x86.
I want to telnet to a Winlink RMS via a telnet AREDN link.
I do not have or want to configure FX/AX.25, or VARA, or Direwolf, or ARDOP,...
on my pat instance.
How do I configure pat?

I fixed it by configuring and using flrig

I do not have a 'rig' on the computer on which I am running 'pat'.
Ergo, their is no flrig/rig to edit.

Chuck,

Perhaps remove the rig section that defines the “my-rig” rig from the hamlib_rigs section?  And anywhere you have a “rig”: “my-rig” line, change it to “rig”: “”.

Did you copy your config from someone else’s?  Including a copy of your config (remove your password and any other identifying information) would probably help others help you.

Well that's the reason for the nag line. You can just ignore that then
