This is getting old very fast. 

It was an annoyance at first and stopping and restarting AX25 was a temporary fix. Then it started to become a reboot to fix and I went as far as a new install that included a new microSD card to rule out that as a problem. 

if I connect and no message is found then everything works. If thee is a file well all bets are off and more than likely it will fail.
