I upgraded to Pat v0.12.1 (ccb4934) linux/amd64 - go1.17.5 and somehow
my config got overwritten, so I'm trying to recreate all my connection
strings.

I am trying to connect via telnet with
"telnet://KF6IIU:mypas...@cms.winlink.org:8772/wl2k" where my
password is my winlink password. I get:

2022/04/13 10:34:13 Connected to 54.147.251.1:8772 (tcp)
*** Telnet access code does not match - Disconnecting (99.41.166.194)

I know my password is good because I can log into winlink.org with it.
Has something changed?

I also notice that under some circumstances "pat http" will prompt me
for my password, but when leave the password out of the connection
string I get a "*** No telnet access code seen - Disconnecting
(99.41.166.194)" error from the CMS. Is there a way to format the
connection string so I can get a prompt?

Thanks
Wiley KF6IIU

Ignore prev message.... This seems to be a problem with the CMS itself:

~$ telnet cms.winlink.org 8772
Trying 107.22.124.49...
Connected to cms.winlink.org.
Escape character is '^]'.
[I enter usename and password]
*** Telnet access code does not match - Disconnecting (99.41.166.194)
Connection closed by foreign host

Well, my mistake. I seem to remember being able to use my account password to connect to CMS via telnet but it now seems the password for everyone is CMSTELNET. Sorry if this caused confusion.
